Greg Mays Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Greg Mays has served as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Source Interlink Companies since October 2008, and has served as a director since February 2005. Since 2000, Greg has had a private consulting practice, specializing in management & company reorganization. During that period of time, he has been Chairman & CEO of three different public companies and one private company, all requiring various levels of restructuring. Most recently (2006 & 2007), Greg served as Chairman & CEO of Wild Oats, which was subsequently acquired by Whole Foods in September of 2007. Prior to that he worked under an umbrella of equity companies in a very active merger and acquisition environment. Specializing in the supermarkets retail business Greg held numerous executive positions in the acquired supermarket companies all with an emphasis of improving shareholder value with the exit strategy to realize value to all stakeholders. Greg is currently a director of the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. He is also currently serving as CEO, and Director of Simon Worldwide Inc., a public company, the operational components of which Greg liquidated several years ago.
James Gillis President and Chief Operating Officer
Jim Gillis has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Source Interlink since August 2000, having been named President of the Company in December 1998. He was appointed a member of the Board of Directors in March 2000. Prior to joining Source Interlink, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Marketing Services, Inc. (USM), which offered retailers marketing, logistics, design and manufacturing services for front-end display fixtures. Source acquired USM in January 1999. Before joining USM, he was President & CEO of Brand Manufacturing Corporation, Brooklyn, NY, a point-of purchase display manufacturer. Prior to this, he was managing partner of Aders, Wilcox, Gillis, an international consulting firm specializing in grocery industry relations. Earlier in his career, Jim was Executive Vice President of Globe Communications Corp., a publisher of over 30 weekly and monthly magazines.
Alan Tuchman President, Source Interlink Distribution
Alan Tuchman was appointed President of Source Interlink Distribution on October 23, 2008. For the prior 2 years, Alan served as Co-CEO of Source Interlink. Previously, he was an Executive Vice President of Source Interlink and President of the Alliance division, responsible for all DVD and CD fulfillment operations. Alan was President and Chief Operating Officer of Alliance Entertainment Corp. (AEC) from 2000 through to completion of its merger with Source Interlink on February 28, 2005. After joining Alliance in 1991, Alan was Vice President until 1996 when he became Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning. From 1997-2000, he was President of AEC One Stop Group, Inc., an Alliance subsidiary.
Marc Fierman Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Marc Fierman has served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer since November 2002. Previously, he had served as Source Interlinks Senior Vice President of Finance since January 1999. Earlier in his career, Marc was CFO of New York based U.S. Marketing Services, Inc. (USM), which offered retailers marketing, logistics, design and manufacturing services for front-end and point of purchase display fixtures. Source acquired USM in January 1999. Prior to USM, he was a Senior Manager for the CPA firm Lopez, Edwards, Frank & Co. in New York City. Marc passed the New York CPA exam in 1987.
Cynthia Beauchamp Chief Legal Officer
Cindy Beauchamp was appointed to General Counsel in 2009. She joined Source Interlink as Employment and Labor Counsel in 2007 and was promoted to Group Vice President of Human Resources in 2008. Prior to joining Source she was the Assistant General Counsel for U-Haul International (Amerco), a 3 billion dollar public company located in Phoenix. In addition, Cindy has held executive positions in both legal and human resources areas with public and private companies including Commonwealth Industries Inc. where she served as Chief Litigation Counsel. Her career includes three years with the National Labor Relations Board where she was a litigator. Cindy holds a Masters degree in Leadership and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit, School of Law. She is a member of the Michigan, Kentucky and Florida Bars.
