DURHAM, NC, October 4, 2012 – GrindMedia’s Baseball America, one of the leading brand names in the baseball media landscape, announced the hire of Ryan Johnson as its Director of Advertising, a new position in the organization.

Johnson has been with the Nielsen Expositions tradeshow division, located in Southern California, for the last four and a half years as Account Executive for events such as the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow.  Prior to his time with Nielsen, Ryan served as the Marketplace Manager for Baseball America from 2005 to 2008.

Johnson added, “I am pleased to re-join Baseball America.  It is a passionate brand in baseball that I have followed and supported throughout my professional career.  It is a great opportunity to help take Baseball America to the next level as a baseball media brand.”
