Source Interlink Distribution Announces Strategic Alliance With Retail Marketing Professionals

New York, NY (October 24, 2012) – Source Interlink Distribution (SID), a division of Source Interlink Companies, Inc. ( www.sourceinterlink.com) has announced a strategic alliance with Retail Marketing Professionals (RMP), a national in-store merchandising company. The newly formed team will market itself under Source Interlink Retail Services.  

With this new partnership, Source Interlink Distribution will grow its active continuity and surge merchandising field force to over 11,000 in-store merchandisers. This expanded network of experienced merchandisers will instantly increase Source Interlink’s retail coverage capabilities to a national level, moving well beyond its traditional magazine distribution service areas.

In making this announcement, Source Interlink Distribution also announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Retail Nexus Insights to provide retail causal data collection on a national basis.  Retail Nexus Insights is a leading provider of brand and category business intelligence for retail and on-premise environments.  Both companies are very excited about this alliance which will allow Retail Nexus Insights the ability to provide its customers unsurpassed depth of granular data on a census level.  This partnership will provide a unique basis for the sophisticated analytics and insights generated by the Retail Nexus Insights team.
